There will be one Support Worker for three clients. If any of the clients have behaviours that require more attention or the activity requires more in-depth supervision the Support Worker ratio will be adjusted to suit.
How the ratio works
iConnect Life runs group programs across the Tweed and Gold Coast, including outdoor adventure, video gaming, social, art, men’s, women’s and wellness groups. A ratio of 1:3 means each Support Worker looks after three participants, so everyone gets real attention and help when they need it.
The ratio is not fixed. If a participant needs closer supervision, or an activity needs more in-depth support (an outdoor activity such as kayaking, for example), we adjust the ratio to suit.
