The number of participants varies from one group activity to the next. Group size depends on the space or venue we are using, the type of activity and how many Support Workers are available. We run at one Support Worker for every three clients (see our Support Worker ratio).

Why group sizes differ
Because we staff groups at one Support Worker for every three clients, the number of Support Workers rostered shapes how big a group can be. The venue matters too: a coffee group, a video gaming session and an outdoor adventure all need different amounts of space.
Some groups are also split by age. Our Outdoor Connection Group, for example, runs as two groups: 13–17 years and 18 years and over. The current groups are listed on our What’s On page, along with the weekly program.
