What’s On – Activity Calendars
At iConnect Life, we offer group programs for high functioning/low needs participants. We believe we must support and connect low-needs participants to the community to increase their quality of life. We acknowledge that without community connectedness and belonging, life can be disappointing.
Our groups aim to provide participants with an opportunity to have fun and interact, all while working towards increasing their communication and social skills. Our people, consisting of Support Workers and Allied Health professionals, provide skilled support within our groups.
Activity Calendar Schedule
It is paramount to create safe spaces for participants to make friends, learn new skills, and increase their overall quality of life. We offer group sessions for video gaming, movie nights, a coffee group, an outdoor adventure group and much more.

Outdoor Connection Group
The Outdoor Connection Group is based around outdoor adventure activities, adventures, and skill-based activities. Our skilled support workers assist and develop tailored programs that contribute to the confidence of participants, build appropriate skills sand resilience to support participants to manage the challenges of daily life.
We work with participants to enhance their communication skills and aid them in building strong fulfilling friendships. This group is designed to build people into a better version of themselves and shape character.
If you are an outdoor lover, adventurous, wanting to do something exciting, want to make new friends or just keen to do something different this group is for you. This group is for low needs high functioning clients.
Age • 13-17 years & 18+ years (2 Groups)
Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication, fitness, resilience building.
Accessibility • Participants must be able to endure strenuous activities that can involve movements such as jumping, climbing, running, walking, kayaking and general hiking.
Food • BYO lunch
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community.
Video Gaming Group
The Video Games connection teaches and assists participants to better communicate and make friends though the median of Video Games. Why Video games you may ask? We recognise that Videogaming is a fantastic platform for people from all walks of life to enjoy and learn various skills such as problem solving, team building, fine motor skills and much more. This group is much more than just gaming, using skilled support workers.
Our Allied Health team is always accessible to develop, where required, tailored programs that enhance participants’ skills to ensure a whole lot of fun happens while completing the activity.
This group is for low needs, high-functioning clients.
Age •13-17 years & 18+ Years (2 Groups)
- Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication.
Accessibility • Easy.
Food • Additional $5 for clients who wish food to be provided.
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community.
Transport • Please allow 30min before & after group for pick up and drop off. Pick-up and return for activity is charged at $1 per km. When there is another client in the car the cost is split between then e.g., fifty cents per km per client.
Social Connection Group
The connection group is geared to building friendships and learning communication skills. We do this by using skilled support workers and a specialised behaviour support team (where required). We make sure fun is at the centre of what we do. This group is an exciting mix of activities such as movie nights, pizza parties, board game nights, murder mysteries and outings.
If you would like to try different things within an indoor setting this is the ideal group. This group Is for low needs high functioning clients.
Age • 18+ years
Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication.
Accessibility • Easy.
Food • Additional $5 – $20 will be required depending on location and if the client wishes to have food provided.
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community.
Transport • Please allow 30min before & after group for pick up and drop off. Pick-up and return for activity is charged at $1 per km. When there is another client in the car the cost is split between then e.g., fifty cents per km per client.
Men’s Social Group
This group is a male specific social connection group that works on building and maintaining relationships in a fun and social setting.
This group engages in activities such as movies, time zone (arcade), bowling, board games and lots of other fun things.
Age • Males aged 18+ Years
- Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication.
Accessibility • Easy.
Food • Before the start of the group we can arrange to go and get dinner, you can bring or buy your own dinner, or if we are in the Hub, dinner can be organised for a cost of $5 – $10.
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community. Some activities may attract an additional cost. Additional costs can vary between $5 – $30 depending on venue.
Art Connection Group
Do you love Art? If yes, fantastic this is the group for you. If not, that is fine also, as this group is so much more than just art. The Art Connection Group is a wonderful place to socialise, meet new people, and bring home new and exciting bonuses for your home.
The Art connection group is a group for mature participants to make friends and learn social skills in a comfortable fun environment.
Age • 18+ years
Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication.
Accessibility • Easy – All levels and abilities
Food • Additional $5 for clients who wish food to be provided.
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community.

Women’s Art & Social Group
This group is designed for women to enjoy social connections whilst working on building and maintaining relationships in a fun-orientated and social setting
This group participates in a range of activities, including art and crafts, knitting, colouring and painting.
Afterwards, the group often enjoys heading out for a coffee or brunch. (This is always optional).
Age • Ladies aged 18+ Years
- Goal • Social interaction, team building, communication.
Accessibility • Easy.
Cost • NDIS plan funding required – Core Social & Community.
Transport • Please allow 30min before & after group for pick up and drop off. Pick-up and return for activity is charged at $1 per km. When there is another client in the car the cost is split between then e.g., fifty cents per km per client.
Golf Connection Group
The Golf Connection Group is for people who can swing a club and can move to complete basic golf activities. Activities may include going to a local driving range to playing a round of golf after a qualifying period. Lunch can be included, or you can bring your own.
We believe we can support participants to improve and, in some cases, begin their journey into this rewarding sport. We collaborate with participants to enhance their communication skills and aid them in the process of building strong fulfilling friendship.

Age • 14 to 65 Years
- Goal • Social interaction, team building, fitness, building resilience, communication.
Accessibility • Clients will need to be able body as the activities can be strenuous.
Food • Before the start of the group we can arrange to go and get dinner, you can bring or buy your own dinner, or if we are in the Hub, dinner can be organised for a cost of $5 – $10.
Cost • Golf Course / venue charges varies from $10 -$50 depending on the type of golf activity undertaken.
Getting to and from venues may also attract further costs (usually funding for this can be accessed through your NDIS plan).
Wellness Group
If you are wanting to improve your overall wellbeing, this group is fabulous. Designed to develop and enhance the participants quality of life and overall wellbeing, the group involves activities such as: Meditation, mindfulness, journaling, vision boards and breathing exercises.
Feedback received indicates people feel their thoughts have slowed and there is a general sense of bringing oneself back to earth.
Afterwards the group often goes to get a coffee or brunch (This is always optional).
