Project Description
Household Supports
Depending on your support needs and disability, some people may find it challenging to engage in daily chores and perform activities around their homes. Activities as simple as cooking and cleaning can be strenuous. If a person’s disability prevents them from doing the household tasks efficiently, they may be eligible for funding for Household Tasks under their NDIS plan.

Skill development for household tasks
Whether you need physical assistance with Household Tasks or simply someone to supervise as you build on your own skills, our Household Tasks service will give you added support to empower you to live more autonomously each day.
How do I get access to Household Tasks?
iConnect Life can provide Household Task support privately or via the use of your NDIS fund when included in your plan. In relation to NDIS-funded household tasks, Participants may be eligible to receive Household Task services via the NDIS when either of the following two different approaches applies:
- Supports that build participant capacity and/or skills to complete household tasks independently or to actively participate in these tasks.
- Supports that assist the participant where they are not reasonably able to undertake these tasks. Assistance with house cleaning and house and/or garden maintenance are examples.
These budgets are generally available for Participants who have goals to live more autonomously and build on their independence skills in day-to-day life.
